I got younger by one year very recently..it was a wonderful year for me where actually I witnessed tremendous professional growth, my course of career changed in this year... I actually witnessed changing attitude of people..before joining this multinational on such a big post, I was some one who was trying to be a "succesful Lawyer" but after this episode suddenly I became someone who is earning a lot of money and is settled in every aspect(except marriage)..my younger cousins who hardly met me before called me to seek my advice on choosing the right track for their careers.. older people in family who thought it will take me more time than usual to settle down as I have chosen a difficult career path, as there are more lawyers and no work and also thought probably i would land up in standing outside the collectors office or in the court premises(though that was never the case with me as I had loads of work and had earned a good reputation in court) suddnely realised that I can be a role model for the younger kids in family as I always followed my own instincts and chose a diffrent career path...
Surprising that was...but for me my real growth is a continuous process which will remain "on" till I the day I hang up my boots and say a final goodbye.. and this one year was no diffrent for me i learnt a lot of things in this another beautiful year of my life..I really find myself very lucky in every aspect..now I have reached at a stage where I can say now its my turn to give it back..(not in bad sense) and believe me I think I should do something which will give me a peace of mind which will give me a sense of fulfillment, may be something like sponsoring a kid for his education or something more like that..
But one thing is for sure this is just the "begining" of "my life" and as they say "miles to go before I sleep"....
